Mexicanal TV channel created for immigrants in the United States and Canada and only transmitting in those countries. Now is the operator Cablecom charge to bring its signal to Mexico. Mexicanal is from 1 March this year at 330.000 subscriptions in the states of Michoacán, Guerrero, Yucatan, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Estado de Mexico, Nuevo Leon, Campeche, Aguascalientes and Hidalgo.

This channel was born in 2005 to satisfy the curiosity of the 30 million immigrants in those countries to know what was happening in their hometowns. Broadcasts news local states of Mexico, as well as children's programs, music and magazines, all in English. The television stations are affiliates of the same states where now carry the signal.
also has a web site where they give advice on immigration, translation of recipes and ingredients, and other services like chat, e-cards, horoscopes, etc.. A very original idea is this channel, covering the market of Mexicans living in the U.S. not only immigrants, Mexicans also legally working or studying.
